Australian small business need support in attracting the right workers to fill shortages.
This is particularly relevant with respect to industries hiring lower-paid workers with essential skills and regional areas that require the most support from skilled migrants in the coming years. The overall operating environment for businesses remains complex and the more the Government can do to support all businesses in navigating issues like migration and industrial relations, small businesses will be left with more time to increase productivity, innovation and output.
