Small Business Relief Grants: Successful Applicants Announced
COSBOA is delighted to announce the first wave successful recipients of the Small Business Relief Fund made possible by Salesforce.
Back in May, COSBOA announced that 67 grants of $10,000 each would be made available to help small businesses struggling as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund was aimed at supporting initiatives to help businesses adapt and innovate in order to emerge from this challenging time in a strong position.
There was an overwhelming response, over 1,700 businesses from a wide variety of industries across Australia applied for the grants. The selection panel was impressed with the resilience and creativity shown by all the applications.
COSBOA CEO, Peter Strong said: “Today, we’re excited to announce the first forty recipients of the Small Business Relief Program. This grants program has delivered a much needed boost to these small businesses at a time when they need it most. Small business is the backbone of the Australian economy and our communities and we’re proud to have teamed up with Salesforce to support them.”
Salesforce ANZ CEO Pip Marlow said: “We’re proud to team up with COSBOA to help small businesses find new ways to keep their businesses going and get them growing. We can’t wait to see the great ideas of the successful applicants come to life.”
