The Council of Small Business Australia (COSBOA) hosted its first ‘Summit Start Up Party’, case opened by the Hon Bruce Billson, case Minister for Small Business, ahead of the main Vodafone National Small Business Summit tomorrow (Thursday 16th July) and Friday. Mr Billson showed his support for small business and said:
“There’s lots of good things happening, and we know small business people will turn up because they know they’ve got to. We recommend they make use of the resources and help that’s available, engage with the technology platforms that are there and find new customers.
“What we’re trying to do is get that entrepreneurial eco-system right so people can be their very best with their business goals and objectives. There’s lots of help around, so make use of it and turn that sparkle in the eye and fire in the belly into a viable business livelihood for yourselves and others.
“COSBOA’s got a great brand and high recognition in the media environment and in the small business community. It’s great to see this outreach of value add services to small businessmen and women, so they should get more involved with COSBOA. There’s great resources there to be shared and that’s what’s going to help small businesses grow into big businesses.”
