Australian Booksellers' Association (ABA)

The Australian Booksellers Association (ABA) protects and promotes the interests of booksellers throughout Australia.  The association represents booksellers to government and in the public arena, and offers training and other professional services to members. ABA members receive substantial money-saving benefits, including reduced rates on parcel post, freight and insurance and assistance with legal and technological issues.  We welcome inquiries from interested and prospective booksellers and other industry groups.

Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA)

APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) was established in 1926 as a non-profit association of composers, authors and publishers of music.  Rather than license businesses individually, composers join APRA, which collects licence fees on their behalf and distributes them in the form of royalties.

Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Australia is the country’s largest paraprofessional body in the accounting/finance sector and thanks to the support of CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the National Institute of Accountants, the strength of AAT Australia can only grow.

Association of Consulting Engineers Australia (ACEA)

The Association of Consulting Engineers Australia (ACEA) is a business organisation that represents and provides assistance to Australian consulting engineering firms rather than individual engineers. ACEA represents firms of all sizes nationwide - small, medium, and large firms, as well as sole practitioners.

Australian Equipment Lessors Association (AELA)

AELA is the national association for the equipment leasing and financing industry. AELA’s 100 members encompass more than 90 percent of leasing activity in Australia.

With lease and equipment finance facilitating around 40 percent of the nation’s equipment capital expenditure, the industry is vitally involved in the equipping of Australia’s productive base.

Australian Newsagents’ Federation (ANF)

The Australian Newsagents' Federation (ANF) is the peak industry body representing Australian newsagencies. There are 5000 individually owned and operated newsagencies in the country and together they make up Australia's largest retail and home delivery group turning over $6.5 billion a year and employing more than 20,000 people.

Australian Toy Association (ATA)

ATA is an independent, financially strong well resourced industry body representing and servicing Australian industries specialising in products for kids and family leisure, learning and entertainment to enhance their future health and prosperity.

ATA members include manufacturers, distributors, importers, retailers, agents and licensors AND these account for the vast majority of total industry sales.

Business & Professional Women Australia (BPW)

BPW works to raise the status of women and encourages women to become well informed and active at local, national and international levels.

Membership in BPW provides opportunities for business and professional women to network, access mentors, develop skillsets and participate in forums to discuss issues of concern with likeminded and diverse women.

Business Enterprise Centres (BEC)

BEC Australia is a not-for-profit organisation whose primary role is to support and grow the national network of Business Enterprise Centres and provide representation on behalf of its members to key stakeholders.

The CMA is here to help cabinetmakers to do business and keep them up to date with changes in the industry. The CMA also helps consumers with advice on their project and assists in choosing the right cabinetmaker for the job.

Pharmacy Guild of Australia (PGA)

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia was established in 1928, bringing together several small retail pharmacy organisations then operating in the various States. The Guild is registered under the federal Workplace Relations Act 1996 as an employers' organisation.


The Guild exists for the protection and betterment of its members and to maintain community pharmacies as the most appropriate primary providers of health care to the community through optimum therapeutic use of drugs, drug management and related services. Its members are pharmacist owners of some 4,500 community pharmacies across Australia.

The Stocktakers Institute of Australia is an association of independently owned stocktaking businesses from all states of Australia providing a wide range of services throughout Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
